SETTING
Artha is a fictional place, the location and time of which
is not entirely known.
The flora and fauna are the same as present day Earth, minus the
existence and influence of the human race. The terrain is identical to that of Earth,
with mountains, valleys, rivers, and plains. Everything seems as it should be, except
for the fact that it isn't. There are no recognizable landmarks. No familiar paths to
take you home. Trees are still trees. Deer are still scared of you. Mosquitos still
love you. But this is a foreign world.
So, how did you get to Artha? There are no discernible land bridges.
No tunnels. Well, in short, you just appeared. Poof. One moment you
are living your life as normal--perhaps taking a nap, perhaps just blinking--and the
next, you are in Artha in a place known as The Center. There is no smoke, no strange
or unusual sensation, no indication that anything happened at all. You simply were
in one place, and now you're here.
Now, of course, there are questions. Questions ranging from those in
the same vein of Shroedinger's Cat to the theory of alternate universes. Unfortunately,
there are no answers as of yet. All we know, is that we don't.
PLOT
When a wolf arrives in Artha, fresh from... wherever and whenever they
came from, they appear in a place known as The Center. What and where The Center is, is
yet unknown. However, its name, and the name of this place, Artha, are both communicated
to the wolf through something. The wolf will hear
the Voice in their head, saying the word "Artha" followed by the words "The Center",
which then instills in the wolf the knowledge that this place is called Artha, and
that they are in The Center. However, it's now been reported that in some cases, the
Voice does not speak at all. Rather, the information is gained without having
heard anything, just feeling something and then being brought to
understanding.
Unique to each wolf, the Voice will be heard differently by every
individual. Some hear a male voice, others female, and some can tell no gender. Some
wolves even hear a voice of someone they know, or knew at some point in their life.
It is possible for multiple wolves to hear the Voice at the same time, but to hear
differently than another or to hear different things said but still have the same
knowledge. What the Voice is or where the Voice comes from is unknown.
At this point in time, there are more questions than answers, and
nothing beyond the name of The Center and Artha are known. The only option is to explore,
ask, and learn.
HISTORY
Natural Events
Great Flood (4/20/17 - 5/4/17)
A week of storms day and night saturated the lands. With no more ability to absorb the rain,
the water began to pool in every crevice, behind every rock. Lowlands flooded, water sources
overflowing by leaps and bounds. Then, without warning, a great rumble from the mountains let
loose a torrent of water--the rocks that had been holding back a resevoir broke free--spilling
death and destruction across Artha. All territories were flooded, lives lost. In the aftermath,
waterborne illness plagued the creatures, killing prey and predator alike. It was only after a
cure was discovered by Ma'ik of the Lier Pack that the sickness was stopped.

Wars/Raids
Imperial - Stormcloak War (4/01/17 - present)
This war began when Ulfric of the Stormcloak Pack slew Torygg of the Imperial Pack in a death
match. The Stormcloaks believe Ulfric won in fair combat, while the Imperials believe Ulfric
cheated and struck when Torygg was weak.
War was not officially declared until the Imperials launched what is now called
the Spring Massacre, a suprise raid on the Stormcloaks that left a hole in Stormcloak ranks
and saw Ulfric captured.
The Stormcloaks retaliated in the Battle of Rorikstead, when they raided a less-defended Imperial
territory, effectively distracting the Imperials. The Stormcloaks struck simultaneously on
the place where Ulfric was being held, freeing him.
Deaths
Kodlak Whitemane - Died 4/12/17 in a death match against Vilkas Whitemane.
